Greetings fellow geeketarians!
In this, our most latest of episodes, we go deep into the world of Magic: The Gathering. We poke around the musty cellar of history to look at the rise of this, the Übermensch of trading card games. We look to see who has tried to muscle in on its action through the years, we rake over its family tree with a fine toothed comb, and almost certainly that we have driven the metaphor fairy to hard liquor in search of descriptions for this blurb.
Plus, we all get to give you our Thimble of Win.
Are you not entertained?
You lucky, lucky people!
Yes - you saw correctly. You get an extra mini-episode this week. We figured that this one was worth its own review. Normal programming will resume shortly, but in the meanwhile, feast your ears with our dulcet ramblings on what we thought of Ghostbusters.
Get on it good people.
Take three fresh geeks. Marinade them gently in a blend of trailers, stir vigorously, ladle about the face repeatedly, slap several times, pour into a baking tray and shove it into your computer at Gas Mark 7 for 50 minutes...
...the end result being this week's investigation into the Film and TV delights we can expect to be gracing our screens, large and small, over the coming months. We look into a wide variety of goodies, including Justice League, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, The Lego Batman Movie, Kong: Skull Island, Doctor Strange, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Blair Witch, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, Snowden, Ash Vs. Evil Dead, Legion, Son of Zorn, and American Gods.
Phew! That's a mouthful. and an earful. Plus there's the Thimble of Win. And, if you listen carefully, you might notice something new...
