You lucky, lucky people!
Yes - you saw correctly. You get an extra mini-episode this week. We figured that this one was worth its own review. Normal programming will resume shortly, but in the meanwhile, feast your ears with our dulcet ramblings on what we thought of Ghostbusters.
Get on it good people.
Take three fresh geeks. Marinade them gently in a blend of trailers, stir vigorously, ladle about the face repeatedly, slap several times, pour into a baking tray and shove it into your computer at Gas Mark 7 for 50 minutes...
...the end result being this week's investigation into the Film and TV delights we can expect to be gracing our screens, large and small, over the coming months. We look into a wide variety of goodies, including Justice League, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, The Lego Batman Movie, Kong: Skull Island, Doctor Strange, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Blair Witch, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, Snowden, Ash Vs. Evil Dead, Legion, Son of Zorn, and American Gods.
Phew! That's a mouthful. and an earful. Plus there's the Thimble of Win. And, if you listen carefully, you might notice something new...
On this episode, your three intrepid podbusters climb into their shoddy grey overalls, strap on their proton packs and get down and dirty with our take on Ghostbusters.
We look into the history of the franchise, the animated spinoffs, the latest version set to hit cinemas next week, and ask the really important questions, such as what the hell happened to Janine in Ghostbusters II. Plus, we look into the controversy around the all female cast, and try to get our heads around the upset that this seems to have caused.
Plus, as ever, there's our Thimble of Win. Liste below are some useful links for anyone interested in the topics discussed.

Once again, our three intrepid podcastranauts plunge headlong into the inky depths of Video Game Movie Adaptations - where it all stared, which ones work or don't work and why, what the future holds and much more. Plus Cav reviews Warcraft, the latest attempt at getting these Crossovers right.
Chani expounds and explodes in a gooey mess all over Super Mario Bros. Cav gets forensic on the reasons behind the success or otherwise of various attempts made over the past fifteen years, and Mike tries to look clever by asking what he thinks are intelligent question, while possibly missing the point and farting on for too long.
Plus there's our regular Thimble Of Win, and we discuss the unholy nonsense that is Uwe Boll's career.
Enjoy, you filthy little harlots.
In our latest episode, we get down and dirty with JC, delving deep into the world of classic 90's comic series turned 2016 TV show from AMC, Preacher. We explore the themes, the history, the...anagrams...and generally deconstruct what it is that made this tale of batshit American craziness the cult classic that it is. We look at the pilot episode, first aired on Sunday 22nd of June 2016, and ponder whether the adaptation can live up to the source material.
Plus, we have our regular Thimble of Win section, and we get to find out what Cav and Chani thought about Doom.
Enjoy!
In this episode, we look at the granddaddy of all First Person Shooters - Doom. Or is that Doom II? It's probably not Doom 3, although it might be Wolfenstein. Either way, it's Doom we give a thorough going over this week. Gasp as Cav loses breath during a list. Punch a wall in frustration as Chani has trouble getting the new version to load. Feel uncomfortably queasy as Mike recounts his gaming related nausea. We also recount our Thimble of Win, then delve deep into all of the things that made Doom the gaming great that it undoubtedly is.

Once again, our geeksplorers delve into the murkey depths of the pop culture ocean, this time shining a light on the subject of comic book movies.
We look into their history, where they are now, and where they appear to be headed. Gasp as Chani gushes! Nod knowingly as Cav opines on....well, everything! Try to avoid nodding off as Mike prattles on...!
We also introduce our new Thimble of Win segment, on what has titillated our geek antennae this week.
Enjoy! (Note: NSFW language, so get your headphones on, you parents and workers!).

There are some sound quality issues towards the end, and we're working on the kinks but for now, listen to our intrepid Geeksplorers taskle the thorny thicket of geekery that is Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
PSA: Spoliery stuff between 20:15-34:55 for those of you who haven't seen the film, and want to preserve the purity of being baffled at first sight.
